We're journeying with Jesus down the Way of Sorrows, using the Scriptural Stations of the Cross as our guide.
Jesus is crucified between two criminals. One criminal mocks Jesus, but the other one senses something significant happening. This man (often called the "repentant thief" or "good thief" in Christian tradition) begs Jesus for mercy.
Why does God hire latecomers? Why do we get stingy when God becomes generous? And which parable did Jesus act out while he was on the cross? These are the questions we ponder as we visit Station XI and see hope come out of the most horrific circumstances.
